In Singapore, a Malay wedding is usually celebrated with great fanfare. More often than not, a Malay Singaporean wedding is always a grand affair. It is a celebration of the union of two hearts (cliche, I know!). So it is not just a joyous occasion for the bride and groom, it is also a chance for all the guests to mingle around, enjoy good food and parade in their beautiful traditional wear.

Fun fact:
Do you know that the purse I am wearing is older than me? My dad gifted it to my mum on their engagement party. It is at least 25 years old!
